Our flight RIX-IST-DXB with Turkish Airlines was cancelled and airline was given only one option: "you will fly only next week (exactly after one week), and it is the nearest available flight (150 flights departed from RIX and more than 1000 flights arrived in DXB daily, and I don't trust that after one week it is the only option...) As a result, we have lost 1 week in our pre-booked hotel, and one week of annual vacation... Nobody from Turkish airlines' representative at the airport as well as from a central office in Riga has offered any compensation, just told: "if you want, please go to Istambul and ask them for compensation...!!! I think it was the worst experience with the airline itself and as well as with airline customer support... But judgment always finds its "hero", and finally (really big thanks to ClaimAir) we have received a good compensation from "Europe's best airline 2016" (really I don't understand who voted for it)...
